CEPAT KREDIT FINANCING ATTENDED THE MONEY20/20 ASIA IN BANGKOK, THAILAND

Cepat Kredit Financing was represented by our President and CEO, Jeno Zarate, and Head of IT, Lloyd Laurilla.

Last April 22-24, 2024, Cepat Kredit’s CEO, Jeno Zarate, attended the Money 20/20 in Bangkok, Thailand.

As many organizations in the finance and fintech industry know, Money20/20 is the premier opportunity for start-up companies to stay updated with the latest technological innovations, expand their network with fellow entrepreneurs, and discover opportunities to grow and expand their business model.

The event was attended by many leaders of the fintech ecosystem such as banks, lending companies, payment services, tech merchants and many more. And among the hundreds of start-up companies present, Cepat Kredit was the only Filipino-owned organization that joined the panel interview.

When asked to give a brief introduction about Cepat Kredit, Jeno Zarate focused on highlighting the purpose of the company, to provide migrant laborers throughout the nation with not just basic financial needs but also financial freedom. In 2023 alone, 2.4 million Filipinos decided to work overseas and their remittances amounted to $37 billion or 8.5% of the Philippine GDP.

With a non-performing loan ratio of less than 2%, it has expanded its loan book to $12 million and is currently lending $2 million per month. This much success from a company, that was just founded back in 2019, proves to be the main reason why its stakeholders continue to show their support for the organization and its plans to enter the fintech industry.
